Michigan Aerospace has over 35 years experience developing Fabry-Perot etalons and interferometers. Two early interferometer designs were
successfully flown and in operation for many years on the Dynamics Explorer-2 and the Upper Atmospheric Research Satellite (UARS).
Michigan Aerospace etalons and interferometers are designed to operate in wavelengths from the UV to the far IR. These designs include high vacuum and cryogenic operating environments, as well
as ruggedized spaceflight and airborne applications.
Michigan Aerospace provides both design and fabrication services. These services are flexible and customized specifically to our customers’ needs. Quality and performance are integral to our business.
